This has become my favorite salad - Shanghai Chicken salad at TGI Friday's. It just tastes so awesome and quite filling for a salad. I think this was the 4th time I'm having this salad over at TGIF - Subang Parade

7 Tips for Better Vacation Photographs

7 Tips for Better Vacation Photographs:
- 1. Make sure you have enough batteries with you, all charged and ready to go. Bring enough to last you through the day. Compatible batteries may be difficult to find when traveling.
- 2. Bring along your battery charger. It's fast and fuss-free way to quickly recharge your batteries for the next day.
- 3. Pack a few more memory stick, just in case. This way, you can shoot as many photos as you wish without worrying about running out of storage space.
- 4. Tell a story. Any important event can become a picture story. Take shots that tell how you arrived, what the trip was like, and how everyone had a great time!
- 5. Try to get into the shot yourself. Bring a portable tripod with you and use the timer feature so you won't be left out.
- 6. Choose a different perspective. For the most intriguing photos, look at different angles when taking your photos.
- 7. Finally, no matter how well you know your camera, take your manual along! Vacations are a good time to experiment with your Cyber-shot and test features that you may have ignored in the past. (Like what I did).

My World #1 - Cameron Highlands
My Part of the World - Malaysia

Camerom Highlands is situated in the province of Perak, Malaysia. It has a cool weather and perfect place for retreats, honeymoon, etc... There are lots of tea plantations around, as seen on the pic. The best part is, you can have tea and scones in the middle f the plantation! That's my favorite part about Cameron Highlands. That's were we had our honeymoon too 5 years ago. That's why Camerons is just a special place for us. You can see more of the world by clicking the image below:

A Trip to Zoo Negara
Now that our girl is easier to handle, we could go to places that we've been wanting to visit for a long time now. My husband hasn't been to the Zoo Negara for more than 20 years now and he was excited to visit the place again. My boy was excited as well as he could finally go to the zoo again. He's been watching the Barney - Zoo Animals these days and when daddy announced we were going to the zoo, he was all excited.

there's actually a real lion here, if you look at the left, there's a female lino waiting for food.

there was a place for children too... the Children's World where they could play around safely and nicely.
My husband said the maintenance of the Zoo Negara was not that good. He said that in Malaysia, the best zoo is the Taiping Zoo. Will go and visit Taiping Zoo one day.

My Favorite Hangouts
There a few places that my family usually go for a hangout.
- Subang Parade - wo go to this mall once a week since our kids' playgroup (Tumble Tots) is here. My husband would usually accompany the kids while I do my "me time" just hanging around. I would usually go to MPH bookstore to browse books. Nowadays, I would go for grammar books and I spend time browsing around these books. I know I need help with my grammar and sentence structures... and yes, more vocabulary. So I'm working in this area.
- Sunway Club - we are a member of
Sunway Club and we used to hang around the club for swimming, gymn, sauna and then dinner at the Palms. We don't go there much nowadays but hoping to get back into the routine. I miss going to sauna and gym. I think it's about time to consider going back there. Kids love swimming too. There's not enough reason why we shouldn't be going back there.
- Ikea furniture mall - my favorite. We would go for Swedish meal first then we would go and visit the show rooms. They have such great showrooms. I usually get some idea on how to decorate our rooms from there. I like Ikea's style of do-it-yourself thingy. Then the products are not pricy.

A Trip to Sunway Petting Zoo
September 2005 - Family trip to Sunway Petting Zoo, the largest petting zoo in Malaysia. Child #1 was 11 months old then.

Feeding the Emu time - this was my highlight. I really enjoyed feeding the emu.

Our boy had fun with the guinea pigs.

Had a good trip at Sunway Petting Zoo. But this petting Zoo has been moved to Sunway Lagoon Park already. Probably the place is called Sunway Wildlife. Not really sure. Haven't gone there yet. Maybe next time, we make a special trip to the wildlife sunway lagoon park.
