We are now booked for a 5 day-stay at Langkasuka Beach Resort in Langkawi. A couple friends was generous enough to offer us a hotel stay for free. Thanks Patrick and Jo. Our tickets were booked last year in July when the was zero (0) airfare offered by Air Asia.
